Spain's second Ryder Cup
Spain hosted the Ryder Cup once before, at Valderrama in 1997, when Europe won 14½ to 13½. 2031 will also be the fourth Ryder Cup in continental Europe, and the first in Catalonia.
The Stadium Course
Camiral (formerly PGA Catalunya) is one of Europe's great golf destinations, right on the Costa Brava. It has two 18-hole championship courses. The Stadium Course (par 72), designed by Ángel Gallardo and Neil Coles, will host the 2031 Ryder Cup and has staged the Spanish Open; it is rated among the best courses in Spain. The Tour Course offers a more accessible challenge without losing its strategic edge. The resort is completed by a Golf Hub with one of the largest practice areas in Europe, a 2,000 m² putting green, the National Academy of the PGA of Spain and a 5-star hotel with spa.
Play the Ryder Cup course with a caddie
You don't have to wait for 2031 to walk the Stadium Course. Camiral welcomes visitors, and with Caddify you can book a caddie who knows the course: yardages, green reading and where not to go, hole by hole.
There are 11 caddies at Camiral right now. When you book, you choose the course: Stadium Course or Tour Course.
