The Costa Brava, a golf destination
Between the sea and the pine forests of the Empordà there are championship courses that have hosted the Spanish Open and European Tour events, and in 2031 the Ryder Cup comes to Camiral. Most players on these courses come from abroad, and many are used to playing with a caddie.

When to go
The high season for golf on the Costa Brava is spring and autumn: mild temperatures and the courses at their best. In summer, book early tee times.
Playing with a caddie
On a course you don't know, a caddie saves you shots: they know how the greens break, where the trouble is and how the wind plays on each hole. More in golf caddies in Spain: what they do and how to book one.
